ABOUT US

Since its founding in 2003, the Midwest Cardiovascular Research and Education Foundation has been the leader in cardiovascular clinical research and education in our area.

EDUCATION THROUGH RESEARCH

Our Foundation works closely with area cardiologists, physicians, healthcare professionals, and hospitals to provide access for patients to participate in cardiovascular clinical trials. Our research activities help to provide educational opportunities in our community geared toward improving cardiovascular care.

How We Benefit Our Community

We participate in a wide variety of national and global clinical trials geared towards new treatments in our fight against cardiovascular disease. These include various phases of drug, device, and emerging treatment studies.
We host educational events for our medical community. We provide scholarships and grants to support area students in the areas of medicine and science.
We partner with area hospitals and organizations to provide support for our uninsured and underinsured populations. We provide CPR training and fund AED placement geared toward nonprofit organizations within our community.
